Utrecht is appealing for its past and its monuments, which are concentrated in the historical part, with its high tower from where, when there is a clear sky, you can see Amsterdam. You can walk along the canals - where the dock is still viable - and then go to the numerous cafes and shops. Utrecht is famous for being the birthplace of the first Dutch Catholic bishop, for its University, which graduated 10 Nobel prizes; for its modern art and for the designer Dick Bruna. It is also known as “the city of music”. Despite its small dimension, Utrecht has so much to say and to show.
